NAHUA WORLDVIEW

The ancestral wisdom inherited from the indigenous peoples is a profound knowledge that helps us understand the laws governing the phenomenal energies of Creation within our human experience. The Nahua worldview of the peoples of Anáhuac—the northern and Central American territory—has been recovered thanks to oral tradition and the study of codices, sculptures, petroglyphs, and other archaeological remains of the pre-Hispanic culture.

In Mexican territory there is an abundance of profound knowledge that is fundamental to human transcendence today, since our Olmec, Mexica, and Aztec ancestors, primarily, did not conceive of the idea of a God; their conception of Creation did not obey a hierarchical order of "powers," but rather they attended to a dynamic conception of energies in which each authentic aspect that sustains Life takes its place in The Great Dance of Time and Space: and thus the Sun is born every day, the stars every night, the Solstice every equinox, springs, summers, autumns, winters.

These aspects of energy in the codices take on mythically humanized forms, as their understanding serves the well-being of communities in harmony with all their relationships. Our ancestors knew that humanity is not an independent or autonomous creation of the phenomenal process of life and its creation. The forces of nature pulsate in each and every one of the Realms of Creation, and in this way, we are harmoniously woven from the thread of the Great Spirit, Mother Father.

In this synchronicity we put at the service of us women, archetypes of the Aztec Mexica worldview that open a sure path towards self-knowledge and expansion of our feminine consciousness, as daughters of Father Sun Tonatiuh, Mother Earth Tonantzin Coatlicue and granddaughters of Grandmother Moon Nana Meztli.

From this new path that roots our lives in an ancestral wisdom, which were the principles of the sociocultural order of great civilizations, we will come to recognize our cyclical and elemental nature, of light and darkness, of high tides and swampy depths, and we will know that each one of us can trust that in the conscious integration of each of our experiences and aspects, the authenticity of our service to Life and all Our Sacred Relationships, is a pleasant assurance of continuous celebration.
