Here Mother Earth, in her elliptical movement around Father Sun, is once again approaching the Great Star from her equidistant point from the Equator, marking the beginning of Spring, once again achieving balance in the length of day and night.

At this time, Mother Earth begins to emerge from the static, dry cold of Winter in search of the luminous warmth of Father Sun. She has taken a deep rest, recovering her strength and preparing for the great love encounter.

The Spring equinox marks the beginning of flowering, the sexual energy of plants is ready to be pollinated and bear fruit when the time is right. Father Sun sends his strength and heat to fertilize the seeds that, once fertilized, will clothe and bloom the Earth with color.

Spring is a celebration of Love, the celebration of the Resurrection. Flowers and fruits give off their aromas, attracting insects and other pollinators, birds that sing, colorful butterflies that fly from flower to flower, the sweetness of honey and all the energized beauty. It is the time of receptive openness that wants to be fertilized.

Spring is a time of inspiration, creativity, planning and order prior to the intense construction and production of our lives that will come with Summer.
