Mother Earth during her elliptical dance around Father Sun reaches the point closest to him.

Now, during the Summer Solstice, the day is at its longest possible length and the night is at its shortest length of the year.

The Summer Solstice brings the greatest luminosity and intensity of heat from the Sun to our lives and to Mother Earth at this pole where they meet in deep proximity, and where all the passionate expressions and activities of Earthly Existence unfold.

The fertilized seeds that flowered in Spring are now developing fruits that mature with the light and heat of the Sun while being nourished by the intense loving labor of the Earth that continues to transform its garment of foliage into a refined food that will give strength and vitality to all beings.

Summer expresses the greatest strength and energy that is available for the culmination of all the construction processes and realization of projects that sustain Life. It is the season to generate food, build and improve the home, share and celebrate freedom in ecstasy and passion.

The intensity of the heat and the long duration of the bright day give us the opportunity to dedicate ourselves to work that will bear fruit during this season. “Fiery” emotions predominate, which can bring constructive or destructive impulses.

It is the time of greatest benefit for everything we set out to do. The physical, work and/or creative activity that we propose to carry out will consequently bring more energy.

Mother Earth, seeking to protect her body and her creatures from the intense heat that could ignite a fire in all the dryness that Summer also brings, displays her Love to Heaven, crying out for rain to fall.

Thus the heat condenses the clouds that irrigate the fields of summer crops, that nourish the flow of the rivers and lagoons, creating the harmony that gives us joy, happiness and celebration for all that Life generously gives us.
